Cost Accountant Summer Intern

About the role#

TG Kentucky, LLC is seeking a Cost Accountant Summer Intern to join the team in Perryville, Missouri. This full-time, paid internship provides exposure to cost standards, inventory controls, and financial reporting within a motor vehicle manufacturing environment.

What you'll do#

• Assist in setting up standard costs for raw materials.
• Maintain inventory and cost-related codes in JDE.
• Help reconcile inventory accounts at month end.
• Participate in the physical inventory process.
• Identify build-out inventory.
• Support additional accounting department tasks as needed.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
