About the role#
TG Kentucky, LLC is seeking a Cost Accountant Summer Intern to join the team in Perryville, Missouri. This full-time, paid internship provides exposure to cost standards, inventory controls, and financial reporting within a motor vehicle manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist in setting up standard costs for raw materials.
- Maintain inventory and cost-related codes in JDE.
- Help reconcile inventory accounts at month end.
- Participate in the physical inventory process.
- Identify build-out inventory.
- Support additional accounting department tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
