TG Kentucky, LLC is seeking a Sales Summer Intern to support the Sales and Marketing team. This role focuses on commercial management, sales forecasting, and reporting, while assisting with the planning and preparation for internal and external customer meetings.
What you'll do#
- Perform the functions of an Account Manager, ranging from routing Requests for Quote (RFQ) to customer quotation and negotiation for assigned parts.
- Develop sales quoting strategies and present them to the sales team and management for approval.
- Manage internal systems to track the receipt of purchase orders.
- Use internal and customer systems to ensure the proper adjustment of Direct Supply Pricing (DSP).
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate studies.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with specific strength in Excel.
- Strong financial acumen and a highly analytical, detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
