About the role#
TG Kentucky, LLC is seeking a Technical Intern to support various engineering departments, including Machine, Quality, TPS, Production/Manufacturing, Mold, and Maintenance. This is a full-time, paid, rolling internship based on-site in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. This role is open to students pursuing degrees in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, as well as Business Administration.
What you'll do#
- Assist with pre-production and mass-production engineering activities.
- Track and analyze technical data.
- Conduct time studies and process layout activities.
- Investigate quality problems and perform related sorts.
- Organize, order, and distribute necessary supplies and materials.
- Participate in 5S activities and apply general problem-solving techniques.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Ability to work on-site in Hopkinsville, KY.
- Capability to handle data tracking and quality investigations.
