About the role#
The Sales Summer Intern will support the Sales and Marketing team with commercial management, sales forecasting, and reporting tasks. This role involves assisting with the planning and preparation for meetings with both internal and external customers.
What you'll do#
- Perform the full scope of Account Manager functions, including routing Requests for Quote (RFQ) and handling customer quotation and negotiation for assigned parts.
- Develop and present sales quoting strategies to the sales team and management for approval.
- Manage internal systems to track the receipt of purchase orders.
- Utilize internal and customer-facing systems to ensure accurate adjustments for Direct Supply Pricing (DSP).
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate studies.
- Current coursework toward a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel.
- Strong financial acumen and a highly analytical, detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
