TG Kentucky, LLC is seeking a Sales Planning Summer Intern to join the team in Troy, Michigan. This internship provides exposure to automotive sales planning processes, internal database management, and system testing within a global manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Learn the functionality of the Global Sales 1 (GS1) system to assist with sales forecasting, discrepancy reporting, efficiency studies, and system communication testing.
- Shadow Sales Planning and Sales Account Manager team members to understand internal systems and workflows.
- Create and enhance workflows and training demos for the GS1 portal.
- Update and maintain customer information in internal databases.
- Gain experience with the Sales Quote System and RFQ Tracker for data entry and efficiency analysis.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate studies.
- Current coursework toward a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Economics, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or Accounting.
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Motivation to learn automotive sales and planning processes.
- SAP experience, as well as Spanish or Japanese language skills, are considered a plus.
