Production Team Member Student - Production Control

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid production student position within the Production Control department for Summer 2026. You will support the delivery of automotive parts in a just-in-time manufacturing environment.

What you'll do#

• Build skids and manage inventory using kanban and scanning systems.
• Load and sort returnable containers.
• Operate material handling equipment, including lift trucks.
• Maintain 5S standards to ensure an organized workspace.
• Follow all company quality policies and health and safety guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or background in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred; otherwise, successful completion of an aptitude test is required.
• Ability to meet physical job requirements, including bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Commitment to following safety protocols.

Location & details#

• Location: Palmerston, Ontario, Canada.
• Modality: On-site.
• Shift: Primarily morning shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), with the possibility of shift changes based on production needs.
