Production Team Member Student - Production Control

About the role#

Production Team Members in Production Control support the delivery of automotive parts within a just-in-time manufacturing environment. This is a paid, full-time summer 2026 internship based at our Palmerston, Ontario facility.

What you'll do#

• Build skids while utilizing kanban and scanning systems.
• Load and sort returnables.
• Operate material handling equipment, including lift trucks.
• Maintain excellent 5S conditions within the workspace.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with Health and Safety guidelines.
• Follow work instructions and support company quality policies.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management programs.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including bending, reaching, and lifting.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred; candidates without a diploma must successfully complete an aptitude test.
• Adaptability to changing shifts, with a primary requirement for the afternoon shift (4:30 pm – 1:00 am).
