About the role#

TG Kentucky, LLC is seeking a Product Engineer Summer Intern to join the interior and exterior engineering team in Troy, Michigan. This full-time, paid internship focuses on supporting automotive design and development activities for both current and future programs.

What you'll do#

Assist the engineering group with daily design and development tasks.
Conduct engineering data studies to address warranty issues.
Create prototypes and perform lab testing on products.
Support the creation of documentation for the request for quote (RFQ) process.
Implement 3D changes to existing parts.
Lead assigned projects.

What you'll need#

Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate studies.
Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Materials, or Aerospace Engineering.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with CATIA V5 design software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail.
