TG Kentucky, LLC is seeking a Product Engineer Summer Intern to join the interior and exterior engineering team in Troy, Michigan. This full-time, paid internship focuses on supporting automotive design and development activities for both current and future programs.
What you'll do#
- Assist the engineering group with daily design and development tasks.
- Conduct engineering data studies to address warranty issues.
- Create prototypes and perform lab testing on products.
- Support the creation of documentation for the request for quote (RFQ) process.
- Implement 3D changes to existing parts.
- Lead assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate studies.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Materials, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with CATIA V5 design software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
