About the role#
TG Kentucky, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Summer Intern to join the automotive sealing engineering team in Troy, Michigan. This full-time, paid internship focuses on supporting design and development activities for current and future automotive programs.
What you'll do#
- Assist the sealing engineering group with daily design and development tasks.
- Support benchmarking activities for vehicle components and parts.
- Prepare and manage Engineering Change Instruction (ECI) packages.
- Draft FEA requests, build breadboards, and participate in design review meetings.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with CATIA V5 or NX design software is preferred.
