    About the role#

    TG Kentucky, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Summer Intern to join the automotive sealing engineering team in Troy, Michigan. This full-time, paid internship focuses on supporting design and development activities for current and future automotive programs.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist the sealing engineering group with daily design and development tasks.
    • Support benchmarking activities for vehicle components and parts.
    • Prepare and manage Engineering Change Instruction (ECI) packages.
    • Draft FEA requests, build breadboards, and participate in design review meetings.

    What you'll need#

    • Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies.
    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Experience with CATIA V5 or NX design software is preferred.
