About the role#
TG Kentucky, LLC is seeking a Technical Intern to support environmental health and safety initiatives within our motor vehicle manufacturing operations. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Support pre-production and mass-production engineering activities.
- Conduct quality problem investigations and perform sorts.
- Execute 5S workplace organization activities.
- Assist with time studies or process layout tasks.
- Manage the preparation, ordering, organization, and distribution of supplies and materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the engineering team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an engineering degree program.
- Ability to track and analyze technical data.
- Proficiency in applying general problem-solving techniques.
- Commitment to following all company procedures, policies, and safety rules.
