    About the role#

    As a Test or Validation Engineering intern, you will support strategies to reach profitability targets across product lines. You will work on new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion, and yield enhancement. Depending on your degree, you may work as a Validation or Characterization Engineer, Product Engineer, or Test Engineer. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of your assigned products, from initial definition through manufacturing and quality assurance.

    What you'll do#

    • Test and troubleshoot issues.
    • Develop production and characterization test specifications.
    • Create and manage product documentation.
    • Provide product development support by interfacing with design, quality, and other engineering groups.
    • Design, debug, and correlate test hardware and software.
    • Design interface and measurement circuits to ensure tester capabilities align with product definitions.
    • Resolve customer quality and application issues.
    • Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving activities.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
    • Proficiency with bench level test equipment like DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters.
    • Experience with programming languages or tools such as LabView, Spoffire, MatLab, JAVA, or C++.
    • Coursework in semiconductor processing, process control methodology, or device failure analysis.
    • Ability to work in teams, manage time effectively, and drive results.
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.
