About the role#
Systems Marketing Engineering Interns focus on understanding customer technical needs and industry trends to create system-level solutions. You will collaborate with customers, product lines, and the sales force to drive innovative solutions across key end equipment. This role offers exposure to applications engineering, product marketing, and systems engineering to broaden your technical knowledge.
What you'll do#
- Work with customers to provide solutions to their most challenging problems.
- Use the broad TI portfolio to combine parts into whole system-level solutions.
- Integrate hardware and software capabilities into complete solutions.
- Develop reference designs, including block diagrams, schematic capture, PCB layout, fabrication, assembly, and testing.
- Interface with business units and customers to influence product roadmaps.
- Gather user requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and implement enhancements.
- Provide complete documentation for system-level solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging on system issues alongside customers.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher.
- Understanding of system design, including writing IC design specifications, developing algorithms, and creating system reference models.
- Knowledge of C, C++, and Matlab.
- Experience with common electrical circuit analysis and schematic capture simulation tools.
- Ability to analyze data from multiple sources to select parts and solve complex system problems.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Must be a US Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee, or otherwise lawfully admitted under an amnesty program.
