About the role#
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will work within engineering teams on semiconductor technology. You will gain exposure to multiple engineering disciplines, including design, product, test, and quality engineering. This role offers the opportunity to learn about semiconductor wafer fabrication and assembly processing.
What you'll do#
- Analyze fab process control data, review and release processes, and assist in troubleshooting.
- Perform failure analysis on products to determine the root cause of issues.
- Manage customer returns and provide status updates using internal tools.
- Participate in local audit programs.
- Verify that manufactured IC devices and process materials meet specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve analysis issues and meet project metrics.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Material Science, Physics, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Coursework covering semiconductor processing, process control methodology, or device failure analysis.
- Ability to work in teams and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
