About the role#
As a Program Management Engineer Intern, you will lead cross-functional teams through the process of releasing new products. You will guide projects from the initial opportunity phase through to market release, ensuring they stay on budget and meet quality standards. This role requires you to motivate team members across design, marketing, manufacturing, and quality departments to achieve project goals.
What you'll do#
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and budget oversight.
- Coordinate with wafer fabrication, assembly, and test sites to control costs and maintain schedules.
- Provide regular status updates to management regarding project progress and potential issues.
- Communicate with customers about milestones, sample deliveries, and special requests.
- Oversee material logistics and prioritize assembly and test operations.
- Maintain product development guidelines within the internal project management tracking system.
- Ensure all qualification and reliability planning is completed on time.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- A project management minor, certificate, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage complex projects and navigate ambiguity while driving results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience or interest in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in collaborating across diverse functional teams.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
