About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Texas Instruments, you will work within our semiconductor fabrication facilities. You will engage with design, process, test, reliability, and manufacturing engineering teams to support production and improve fabrication outcomes. This role involves data analysis, equipment maintenance, and process optimization to meet cycle time and yield goals.
What you'll do#
- Perform tool selection and process definition tasks.
- Assist with the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Conduct process setup and training for technicians and operators.
- Use data to identify and implement improvements to the fabrication process.
- Resolve product issues and production problems to reduce costs and increase yields.
- Manage new product introduction and provide ongoing production support.
- Collaborate across modules to address issues that limit yield performance.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Microelectronics, or MET.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Strong time management skills and a drive for results.
