About the role#
Texas Farm Credit offers an 8-week summer internship program for students interested in the financial services industry. This is a full-time, paid position where you will work with organizational leaders to learn about our business and our borrowers. You will travel throughout our territory to gain experience across various departments and job functions before being placed in an office location to complete specific projects and assignments.
What you'll do#
- Support department managers with special assignments and projects.
- Perform data collection, data entry, and research tasks.
- Help staff organize special events.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and events.
- Build professional connections with staff, customers, and industry experts.
- Handle general office duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Coursework in agriculture, accounting, finance, management, or marketing. Junior, Senior, or Graduate level students are preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- A reliable vehicle for required travel throughout the company territory.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to your work.

- Location: Robstown, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week for 8 weeks.
- Travel: Work-related travel is required. The association covers lodging and work-related travel expenses, including mileage reimbursement.
