Cybersecurity Internship Fall 2026 - Solutions

About the role#

The Cybersecurity Consultant Development Program is an immersive, paid internship designed to prepare participants for a career as a full-time Information Security Associate. As a Developing Consultant within the Solutions practice area, you will work directly with client-facing teams to gain hands-on experience in project delivery and technical execution. This role requires on-site work and is intended for students or graduates seeking to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional consulting.

What you'll do#

• Develop the technical and business skills necessary to contribute to billable client projects.
• Assist Consultants with client engagements and observe the implementation of Enterprise Security Solutions.
• Plan and execute technical execution plans to meet specific business requirements.
• Document execution procedures and provide professional insights into the technologies involved.
• Learn about industry-standard certifications and national/international compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
• Observe and assist with internal and external penetration testing and social engineering projects.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor's degree or current enrollment at an accredited 4-year university in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or Electrical Engineering.
• Basic familiarity with networking concepts (firewalls, routers, switches, DNS) and server systems administration.
• Strong computer troubleshooting skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent writing skills for both technical and expository documentation.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work as a self-starter.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and relevant IT or Cybersecurity certifications are considered a plus.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
