The Cybersecurity Consultant Development Program is a paid internship designed to build the technical and professional skills required to transition into a full-time Information Security Associate role. As a Developing Consultant within the Healthcare practice area, you will support client engagements for hospitals, clinics, and insurance providers, focusing on the protection of Protected Healthcare Information (PHI) and compliance with standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
What you'll do#
- Develop the technical and business skills necessary to perform billable project work.
- Observe and assist with internal and external penetration testing and social engineering projects.
- Execute on pre-designed security plans and gather requirements for project delivery.
- Document execution procedures and provide professional insights into the technologies involved.
- Learn about industry-standard certifications and national/international frameworks like PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Assist senior consultants with client engagements and observe the implementation of enterprise security solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year university in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or Electrical Engineering.
- Basic familiarity with networking concepts including firewalls, routers, switches, and DNS.
- Experience with computer troubleshooting and server systems administration.
- Understanding of business planning and accounting principles.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks is considered a plus.
- Strong multi-tasking, time management, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

- Term: Fall 2026 (October 5th – December 11th).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Full-time.
