About the role#
We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our People Products team. You will contribute to full-stack applications used by our Recruiting organization. This role focuses on the entire lifecycle of a product, from talking to users to monitoring your code in production. You will tackle ambiguous problems and turn them into practical software solutions.
What you'll do#
- Scope, design, and build software while working directly with the people who use it.
- Own web experiences from architecture and code to delivery and ongoing maintenance.
- Set technical direction by prioritizing features based on impact and feasibility.
- Improve system performance, stability, and maintainability to handle real-world load.
- Monitor your launches and iterate rapidly based on user feedback.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in a backend language, with preference for Python or Go.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
- Strong grasp of fundamental computer science concepts and common design patterns.
- High standards for code quality and a track record of shipping web applications.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems.

- Location: Palo Alto, California.
- Term: Winter or Spring 2027.
- Duration: Minimum of 12 weeks.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $37.00 - $55.00 per hour plus benefits.
