About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee Intern, you will work at the service center to inspect, repair, and service electric vehicles. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will gain hands-on experience with electric vehicle technology while supporting daily operations in a customer-facing environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspections, repairs, and service on vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections on new cars.
- Maintain inventory records, track time, and manage shop supplies.
- Assist with vehicle cleanliness and support Parts or Front of House operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including web browser navigation and Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with the English language.
