About the role#
The Product Knowledge team ensures that employees and customers understand Tesla products and their role in the company mission. You will work on a small, visible team that manages product updates, supports events, and creates educational content. This includes internal communications, reference guides, online courses, and video production. You will handle a variety of projects involving vehicle offerings, accessories, and software.
What you'll do#
- Track product updates and build your own knowledge of Tesla products.
- Collaborate on content requests and propose media solutions.
- Organize production resources and coordinate logistics for shoots.
- Assist with camera work, sound, and lighting for both in-studio and on-location projects.
- Manage on-screen talent to ensure precise interactions.
- Use editing software to create content that meets corporate visual standards.
- Produce and edit educational materials of all kinds.
- Shoot and edit high-quality photographs for internal use.
- Help maintain and expand the internal knowledge base.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Film, Video Production, or a related field.
- Experience with filming, producing, and editing video.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly in an environment where priorities change.
- Proficiency in editing software is preferred.
- Experience with 3D software such as After Effects, Blender, Unreal Engine, or Godot is a plus.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Fremont, California.
- The role is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week.
- Internships are available for Winter, Spring, or Summer 2027.
- A minimum commitment of 12 weeks is required.
- This is a paid internship.
