About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at the service center to perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on electric vehicles. This is a full-time, paid position for the Fall 2026 term. You will learn about vehicle technology while supporting the service team in a customer-facing environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspection, repair, and service tasks on electric vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new cars.
- Maintain accurate records of time, shop supplies, and parts inventory.
- Assist with vehicle cleanliness for customer cars.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods.
- A valid driver license and the ability to travel to the service center as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office applications.
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- Familiarity with the English language.
