About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at our service center to maintain customer vehicles and perform hands-on technical tasks. This role provides an opportunity to learn about electric vehicles and the technology behind them. You will work as part of a team and interact with customers, requiring clear communication skills.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspection, repair, and service on electric vehicles.
- Use various hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new cars.
- Manage inventory, time records, shop supplies, and parts.
- Assist with vehicle cleanliness for customer cars.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work in a team.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with the English language for daily interaction with staff and clients outside of Quebec.
- Willingness to support projects across all Canadian provinces.
