About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work directly on customer vehicles at our service center. You will learn about electric vehicles and our technology while gaining hands on experience in a team environment. This is a full-time role for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, repair, and service electric vehicles.
- Operate various hand, power, and shop tools.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on new cars.
- Maintain shop supplies, parts inventory, and records of time.
- Support vehicle cleanliness for customer cars.
- Assist with Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including web browser navigation and Microsoft Office applications.
- A safety first attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Ability to report to the local service center or training location.
