About the role#
As an IT Support Technician intern, you will join the IT Field Support team. This group maintains 24/7 uptime for Tesla sales, service, and delivery centers across North and South America. You will work on infrastructure that supports Autopilot, Robotaxi, and high-visibility events. This role involves both remote and onsite support to ensure our locations remain operational.
What you'll do#
- Support core infrastructure and endpoint systems.
- Resolve user-impacting issues at Tesla Centers.
- Build internal monitoring systems and automation jobs to reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot hardware, endpoints, and network connectivity.
- Prioritize incidents and communicate with various teams to keep sites running.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with field or remote IT support.
- Understanding of core network infrastructure, endpoint systems, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of high-throughput network infrastructure and data offloading.
- Strong skills in incident management and cross-functional communication.
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS, OSI networking, Meraki, Aruba, Jamf, Intune, JSM/Jira, and Netcloud is a plus.

- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour plus benefits.
