About the role#
Tesla is hiring interns for the HR and People teams in Fremont, California. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship. We are looking for individuals who can commit to at least 12 weeks of work, starting in January 2027, and continuing through the spring or into early summer. You must be available to work 40 hours per week on-site.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding training efforts.
- Manage enrollment, attendance, travel, supplies, and materials for orientation programs.
- Create communications for Learning and Development platforms.
- Support the onboarding employee experience.
- Analyze data to help drive employee engagement.
- Standardize and optimize HR processes and programs.
- Administer solutions for benefits delivery.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Communications, or Business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and take initiative.
- A resourceful and analytical mindset.
- Previous work experience or internships in a related field is a plus.
- Experience in project management is a plus.

- Compensation: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour plus benefits.
