About the role#
We are hiring a Data Analytics Intern to support our People Analytics team. You will analyze data across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, performance, compensation, and attrition. This role involves taking ownership of analytical projects, improving data quality, and building feedback systems for internal teams. You will work directly with analysts and engineers to turn data into clear insights.
What you'll do#
- Translate ambiguous recruiting and people-related questions into clear analytical objectives and reports.
- Design, build, and maintain data models, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Write SQL queries to collect, clean, and interpret data from multiple systems.
- Use Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automating ETL workflows.
- Identify trends and gaps in data to drive system improvements.
- Communicate findings to non-technical audiences and contribute to documentation and tool development.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
- Ability to work onsite full-time for at least 12 weeks during the Spring term.
- Experience with relational databases like SQL Server or MySQL.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience using Python and analytical libraries.
- A solid understanding of fundamental data analysis concepts and a first-principles approach to problem solving.

- Locations: Palo Alto, California or Austin, Texas.
- Term: Winter 2027 to Spring 2027.
- Commitment: Full-time, on-site, minimum 12 weeks.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
