About the role#
This internship focuses on the design and construction of industrial, manufacturing, and office facilities. You will work within the Construction and Facilities team to optimize space and support infrastructure expansion. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring 40 hours per week for a minimum of 12 weeks. The program runs during the Winter and Spring 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
Architecture interns will manage the design development process from test fit to concept design. You will coordinate technical and business needs with stakeholders, transform requirements into concept drawings, and assist with prototype updates. You will also review construction documents and shop drawings.
Structural engineering interns will conduct structural analysis and design for concrete and steel structures. You will prepare structural calculations, make technical assumptions, and draw conclusions based on engineering judgment. You will work with multidiscipline teams, including MEP and architectural professionals, to prepare plans, sections, details, and schedules in Revit. Both roles involve completing field work and communicating project progress through drawings, sketches, and reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related degree program.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively through verbal, written, and visual methods.
- For Architecture: Working knowledge of US building codes, proficiency in Revit, and familiarity with AutoCAD.
- For Structural: Completed primary structural coursework, Fundamentals of Engineer (FE) test passed, and experience with Revit, Revit Structural, RISA 3D, RAM, or ETABs.
- Previous internship or project experience is helpful but not required.

- Term: Winter and Spring 2027 (January/February through May 2027).
