About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the People department within the Energy and Engineering teams. You will work closely with managers and mentors on projects that impact team success. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Palo Alto or Fremont, California.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding training.
- Manage enrollment, attendance, travel, and materials for onboarding programs.
- Create content for Learning and Development platforms.
- Improve the onboarding experience for new employees.
- Analyze data to support employee engagement initiatives.
- Standardize HR processes and programs.
- Administer benefits delivery solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site for at least 12 weeks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs like Excel and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A curious, resourceful, and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to adapt to change and take initiative.
- Previous internship experience or project management background is a plus.

- Terms: Winter 2027, Spring 2027, or Summer 2027.

- Compensation: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour plus benefits.
