About the role#
Tesla is looking for software engineering students to join the Infrastructure Engineering team. You will work on projects that support our engineering teams, including Connected Systems, Firmware, and Autopilot. This role involves building the infrastructure that powers the development of Tesla vehicles and technologies.
What you'll do#
- Architect, build, manage, and operate infrastructure and applications for engineering teams.
- Plan, design, and implement infrastructure components.
- Create a diverse set of services and tools to support internal software and processes.
- Develop tools, processes, and content for field support teams to bridge the gap between product performance and design.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, C, or C++.
- Experience building or maintaining infrastructure and services.
- Strong grasp of fundamental computer science concepts.
- Ability to write well-organized code.
- Eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on execution.
- Curiosity about how Tesla products are designed, built, and operated.

- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
