About the role#
As a Commercial Charging Product Management Intern, you will help define and bring EV and Robot Charging solutions to market. You will work on the roadmap for Supercharging, Commercial AC Charging, and charging products for the Robotaxi and Optimus Robot. You will own specific roadmap deliverables, identify customer pain points, and collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to launch solutions.
What you'll do#
- Scope and document technical requirements for Commercial Charging products.
- Prepare internal and external documentation to support product launches.
- Lead and participate in internal demos of product features.
- Partner with Program and Product managers to track progress, identify risks, and resolve issues.
- Gather primary and secondary customer research.
- Analyze internal datasets to derive actionable insights.
- Present business and engineering tradeoffs to leadership teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Ability to clearly communicate problem statements and project tradeoffs.
- Proficiency in querying databases to build metrics and visualizations for analysis.
- A background in energy, charging systems, or UI design is a plus.
- Experience with user research or customer discovery analysis is a plus.

- Location: Palo Alto, California.
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Terms: Winter 2027 or Summer 2027.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
