About the role#
TD is hiring for an Intern or Co-op position for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site opportunity based in Toronto, Ontario. You will work closely with sales traders to support client needs and assist with daily trading operations.
What you'll do#
- Support clients and handle their requests.
- Conduct daily activities that facilitate client trading.
- Allocate client trades to the correct accounts.
- Perform research and gather market data using Bloomberg and internal databases.
- Design and build front-office solutions to improve trading operations.
- Maintain the group's client-facing web portal.
- Assist with marketplace modeling and quantitative research.
- Coordinate with middle office, back office, and technology teams to resolve technical or settlement issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program related to Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to work independently in a proactive manner.
- Experience with Python, SQL, VBA, and Bloomberg is considered an asset.
