About the role#
This is a paid, 40-hour per week, hands-on internship program designed to develop your leadership skills within a retail store. As a Store Executive Intern, you will receive a preview of the Executive Team Leader role. You will work closely with mentors and team members to understand retail operations and management. This role is a full-time commitment during Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Spend time on the salesfloor and in the backroom leading team members.
- Work alongside your Executive Team Lead mentor to gain an understanding of store operations.
- Identify and work toward store priorities while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Partner with leaders to provide performance feedback and address team member concerns.
- Lead daily huddles, plan goals, and organize tasks within the store.
- Actively participate in internship program training activities and development opportunities.
- Assist guests with their needs and ensure a welcoming store environment.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in retail management.
- Leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to use multiple frequency devices.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Current enrollment in a degree program, with relevant majors including Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, or Human Resources.

- Locations: Phoenix, Mesa, Queen Creek, and Surprise, Arizona.

- Compensation: $24.50 - $25.75 per hour.
