About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, 40-hour per week summer internship designed to prepare you for a career in retail leadership. You will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role by working closely with mentors and store managers. The program focuses on hands-on training where you will develop business acumen, lead teams, and contribute to store operations.
What you'll do#
- Lead and motivate a team while driving sales and operational performance.
- Partner with store leaders to provide performance feedback and coaching to team members.
- Execute daily store operations, including stocking, merchandising, and organizing work tasks.
- Manage guest engagement, including problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Plan daily goals and participate in leadership huddles to review business reporting.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and secure environment for both guests and team members.
What you'll need#
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in retail management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
- Capacity to frequently lift or move merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or Human Resources.
