About the role#
As a Technical Support Engineer Intern, you will work with our customer organization to maintain the satisfaction of enterprise clients. You will learn to resolve technical issues and answer questions in a timely manner. You will be paired with a 1:1 mentor and participate in team triaging and shadowing opportunities to gain hands-on experience.
What you'll do#
- Work with a 1:1 mentor to solve real-world customer problems in security, operations, asset management, and risk management.
- Contribute to triaging technical issues, engaging with customers, and conducting root cause analysis on live production implementations.
- Support security efforts such as forensics, cyber threat intelligence, and incident response.
- Assist with operations tasks including compliance, vulnerability scanning, patching, and integrity monitoring.
- Help customers with platform and module upgrades.
- Partner with other engineers to assist with assigned cases.
- Shape and deliver special projects that impact the company.
- Acquire a deep understanding of our technology and how to integrate it.
- Document best practices, track activity, and complete accurate reports.
- Test products in a home lab environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future.
- Availability to work full-time from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- Experience with endpoints, networking, or operating systems and servers.
- Ability to work independently with good judgment and attention to detail.
- A focus on providing a positive customer experience.
- IT Helpdesk experience is preferred, though not required.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 internship.
- This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
- Locations: Bellevue, WA or Emeryville, CA.
