About the role#
We are hiring an intern for Fall 2026 to focus on social media, growth, and go-to-market efforts. This is an on-site role based in San Francisco. You will spend three months engaging with founders, acquiring new customers, and documenting the journey of companies as they move into new office spaces. This position is designed for those who want to learn how early-stage teams grow through direct, in-person interaction.
What you'll do#
This is a people-focused role that requires you to be out in the city and on your feet. You will:
- Meet YC and early-stage founders to understand what they are building and share what Tandem does.
- Bring in new customers by talking to companies searching for space and helping them get to the touring stage.
- Tour offices across San Francisco to understand the local real estate market.
- Walk tenants through their move-in day as they establish their first headquarters.
- Create content by filming, writing, and posting about the move-in process and other daily activities.
What you'll need#
- Status as a recent graduate or a current student on a gap semester or co-op.
- Ability to be in San Francisco full time for the duration of the fall term.
- A go-getter mindset with low ego, demonstrated by having built, run, sold, or organized things on your own initiative.
- A genuine interest in people and the ability to draw energy from social interaction.
- Experience in sales, customer-facing work, events, community management, or running your own projects is a plus.
