About the role#
Tamatem Games is seeking a Game Artist & Graphic Design intern to join the creative department. This role focuses on contributing to real, shipping projects across a diverse portfolio of mobile game titles. You will collaborate with game artists, marketing artists, and brand designers to gain hands-on experience in art production, UI design, localization, and brand support.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the creation of in-game assets, including UI elements, icons, illustrations, and event art.
- Contribute to mood boards, visual exploration, and references during feature pre-production.
- Support Arabic adaptation passes, including RTL layout adjustments, typography, and text-in-image localization.
- Produce promotional art for LiveOps events, seasonal moments, and feature launches.
- Assist the Brand Designer with pitch decks, social media assets, event identity, and internal communications visuals.
- Apply brand guidelines consistently across various design touchpoints.
What you'll need#
- A portfolio showcasing your artistic skills through academic or personal projects.
- Demonstrated AI fluency, with examples of how you integrate AI tools into your ideation and workflow.
- Familiarity with design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
- A basic understanding of visual design principles, including color theory, composition, and layout.
- Familiarity with mobile games and an interest in the gaming industry.
- A high standard for design quality and the ability to incorporate feedback effectively.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, paid internship.
- The position is full-time with a rolling term.
- Open to students or graduates in Graphic Design, Art, Media Studies, or Communications.
