About the role#
SystImmune is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support the HR and Talent Acquisition team in Princeton, NJ. This is a paid, full-time, six-month internship designed for a college senior or recent graduate looking for hands-on experience in a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical environment. You will work directly with HR professionals to gain exposure to recruitment, operations, and administrative processes.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple time zones, including managing calendars, logistics, and candidate communications.
- Support full-cycle recruiting by sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, tracking applicants in the ATS, and assisting with pipeline reporting.
- Assist with HR operations such as new hire onboarding, I-9 verification, employee file maintenance, and HRIS data entry.
- Draft and post job descriptions to internal and external systems while monitoring candidate flow.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates to ensure a positive experience during onsite and virtual interviews.
- Prepare agendas and notes for HR team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professional discretion.
What you'll need#
- Current college senior or recent graduate (within 12 months) with a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Ability to commit to a full six-month internship and work onsite in Princeton, NJ.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and handle confidential data with sound judgment.
