About the role#
SystImmune is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join the HR and Talent Acquisition team in Princeton, New Jersey. This is a paid, full-time, six-month internship designed for a college senior or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience in a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical environment. You will receive mentorship while supporting daily HR operations and recruiting processes.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple time zones, including managing calendars and interview logistics.
- Support full-cycle recruiting by sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, tracking applicants in the ATS, and assisting with pipeline reporting.
- Assist with HR operations such as new hire onboarding, I-9 verification, employee file maintenance, and HRIS data entry.
- Audit records for accuracy and compliance.
- Draft and post job descriptions to internal and external systems while monitoring candidate flow.
- Serve as a point of contact for candidates to ensure a positive experience during onsite and virtual interviews.
- Support team meetings by preparing agendas, taking notes, and tracking follow-up items.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
What you'll need#
- Current college senior or recent graduate (within 12 months) with a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Ability to commit to a full six-month internship.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment.
