- Assist with audio pipeline tasks, including filterbank design and feature extraction.
- Help design and prune CNN architectures to meet hardware constraints like memory and power budgets.
- Build and run diagnostic tools to analyze false-accept rates.
- Develop hard-negative mining and data augmentation strategies.
- Plan and track data collection efforts and maintain datasets.
- Analyze experiment results and summarize findings for the team.
- Collaborate with ML, DSP, and hardware engineers to validate models for real deployment.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in deep learning for audio or speech.
- Proficiency in Python and a deep learning framework, preferably TensorFlow or Keras.
- Familiarity with audio signal processing fundamentals.
- Understanding of standard machine learning evaluation concepts.
- Exposure to model efficiency concepts such as quantization.
