About the role#
Symphony is looking for students to join our New York office for our Summer Internship Program. You will work on projects that impact our platform, clients, and internal workflows. This program offers hands-on experience and direct mentorship from industry leaders at the intersection of finance and enterprise technology.
What you'll do#
- Own and deliver an end-to-end summer project that solves a critical business or technical challenge.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, or technical feasibility studies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to refine platform features or streamline internal processes.
- Assist in writing clean, scalable code, developing APIs, or improving backend and frontend workflows.
- Gather, organize, and analyze key operational or user engagement metrics.
- Present your project, outcomes, and recommendations to leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate (Junior or Senior) or Master’s degree program.
- A strong academic record in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-starter mindset.
- Proficiency with standard office tools, including Google Workspace or MS Office.
- Technical candidates must be proficient in Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or SQL.
