About the role#
As a Part-Time Athletics Intern, you will provide in-person support for our athletics program. You will manage equipment inventory and help ensure the smooth execution of games, events, and competitions across our network of schools. This role is ideal for those interested in sports management, athletics administration, and event operations.
What you'll do#
- Manage equipment and inventory by tracking, organizing, maintaining, and distributing gear to ensure teams are prepared for practices and games.
- Provide on-site operational support for athletics events, including setup, breakdown, scorekeeping, and venue coordination.
- Coordinate game-day execution by assisting coaches, referees, and event staff to keep schedules on track.
- Maintain safety and facility standards by ensuring gyms and fields are safe for student-athletes and families.
- Collaborate with coaches, staff, and student-athletes to support event needs.
What you'll need#
- Interest or background in athletics management, sports administration, or event operations.
- Experience organizing equipment, managing inventory, or assisting with athletic events.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Ability to lift and move sports equipment as needed for setup and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills for working with coaches and staff.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22 per hour.
- Schedule: This is a part-time role requiring flexible availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend hours based on the sports season.
