About the role#
The Student Data Operations & Reporting Specialist manages the strategy and execution of student data reporting. This role ensures the organization meets internal and external reporting requirements for private, state, and federal grants. You will report to the Director of Student Data to maintain compliance standards and support district partners.
What you'll do#
- Maintain full compliance with grant requirements and regulatory standards for all student data reports.
- Develop processes to produce reports, verify data accuracy, and maintain documentation for potential audits.
- Coordinate the collection, validation, and uploading of student data from district partners into the system.
- Lead communication with district partners to manage data sharing and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Collaborate with IT staff to optimize data integration workflows and troubleshoot system issues.
- Design and implement strategies to meet reporting requirements while documenting all key processes.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience with data management systems, Salesforce reporting, and analytical tools.
- Proficiency in Student Information Systems (SIS) and data management software.
- Knowledge of grant compliance and reporting, specifically regarding California Department of Education requirements.
- Experience developing and enforcing policies related to data use and protection.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Compensation: $82,400.16 per year.
