About the role#
We are looking for a Systems Development Intern to join our Information Technology team for a 6-month period. You will focus on supporting and developing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications. This role provides hands-on training in our development standards and business processes. You will work alongside senior developers and analysts to build solutions that support areas like Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain. This position is full-time and on-site in Lafayette, Louisiana.
What you'll do#
- Learn to support Oracle EBS applications and existing customizations.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by business users.
- Modify and improve Oracle EBS forms, reports, interfaces, and custom programs.
- Develop new software solutions under the guidance of our team.
- Participate in system testing, quality assurance, and validation activities.
- Document technical designs and support procedures.
- Assist with database queries and data analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
- A basic understanding of databases and structured data concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and business processes quickly.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
