About the role#
Stryker is hiring for a Summer 2027 R&D Process & Technology Development intern. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will work alongside experienced engineers to contribute to medical technology projects and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Research new technologies, business requirements, regulations, and customer expectations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify goals and needs for future products.
- Design and build fixtures to simulate real-life situations for product testing.
- Perform quantitative testing to verify technical product specifications.
- Document complex processes and present your findings in a clear format.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- You must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the conclusion of the internship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
