About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical equipment sales and branch operations. You will work directly with sales and field operations teams to understand the processes behind our orthopaedic products and their impact on patient outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Shadow sales associates, representatives, and operations team members to learn about branch functions.
- Develop a project segment focused on creating a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Learn selling skills and instrument use techniques through coaching and mentoring.
- Assist with the delivery of kits to customer accounts.
- Support warehouse operations by assembling and breaking down instrument kits.
- Prepare products for surgery and interact with various internal teams.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the sales and field operations teams.
- Attend or prepare sales presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program with plans to continue your studies after the summer.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Status as a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A flexible approach to work with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Proven leadership skills and business acumen.
