About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in orthopedic sales and branch operations. You will support our sales and field operations teams while developing a deeper understanding of the medical technology industry. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Representatives, Sales Associates, and Operations Team Members to learn about branch functions.
- Develop a project segment focused on creating a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Build your selling skills and learn instrument use techniques through mentorship from experienced team members.
- Assist with the delivery of instrument kits to and from customer accounts.
- Work in the warehouse to assemble and break down instrument kits in preparation for surgery.
- Collaborate with various teams on product-related tasks and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- You must plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer concludes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Status as a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher is preferred.
