About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to statistical programming activities within a medical technology setting. You will work on clinical research projects, supporting data analysis and study deliverables. This is a full-time, paid position based in Irvine, California, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Create, review, and deliver statistical programming activities for study projects.
- Write programs to process clinical research data to support analysis.
- Document and implement programming endpoint algorithms across projects.
- Acquire and curate data, including CDISC standardization.
- Conduct exploratory analyses alongside statisticians to assist with publication and abstract submissions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in SAS or R statistical software.
- A basic understanding of statistical methodologies, including clinical trial design, statistical modeling, and data analysis.
- Ability to work on-site in Irvine, California.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
