About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support clinical research programs within the medical equipment manufacturing industry. You will gain exposure to the collaborative processes required to execute clinical trials while working alongside experienced professionals in Portage, Michigan.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with R&D, Project Management, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs teams to support clinical research initiatives.
- Conduct clinical intelligence activities to build knowledge of treatment options and ongoing clinical studies.
- Accompany Clinical Research Associates to monitor clinical data at investigative sites.
- Draft literature review summaries to evaluate clinical outcomes from recent trials.
- Shadow team members during cross-functional meetings to observe the trial development process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or Clinical Research.
- A status that requires you to remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship concludes.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
