About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical equipment sales and operations. You will work within the Foot and Ankle division to understand how our products support patient outcomes. This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 position based in Chicago, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Shadow sales associates, representatives, and operations team members to learn branch functions.
- Receive coaching on sales processes, communication skills, and instrument use techniques.
- Create a project segment that builds a target account list or develops a marketing strategy.
- Assist with the delivery of instrument kits to customer accounts.
- Support warehouse operations by assembling and breaking down kits in preparation for surgery.
- Collaborate with various teams on product-related tasks and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated leadership and business acumen skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
