About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in construction project engineering. Interns will work on various projects under the VSL post-tensioning systems business line, supporting the development and maintenance of infrastructure such as bridges, buildings, and tanks. This is a full-time, paid position scheduled for the summer of 2026.
What you'll do#
- Provide support for project management tasks.
- Assist with estimating and budget preparation.
- Manage job costs and project scheduling.
- Track production rates.
- Support client relations, safety management, and quality control.
- Contribute to business development efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with computer systems.
- A positive outlook and a team-oriented spirit.
