About the role#
This is a full-time, paid construction internship for Summer 2026. As a Project Engineer Intern, you will work on a variety of projects related to VSL post-tensioning systems. You will gain hands-on experience in construction project engineering while working on bridges, buildings, tanks, and special structures.
What you'll do#
- Provide project management support.
- Assist with estimating and budget preparation.
- Manage job costs and project scheduling.
- Track production rates.
- Support client relations and business development.
- Participate in safety management and quality control tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with computer software.
- A positive outlook and a collaborative team spirit.
